Prices
- All prices shown to customers include VAT at 20%.
- Where a trade, ex-VAT figure is shown alongside, it is labelled as such with the VAT rate.
- Prices on the website are current at the date shown and may change. The price we confirm in writing to you is the price that applies.
- Estimates produced by the calculator on this site are indicative and for information only. They are not a quotation or an offer.
Payment
Cash or bank transfer. We do not take card payments. Our account name shows as GRANITE WORKTOPS 2 GO LTD in your bank's name check. No payment is treated as received until the funds have cleared, and title in the goods stays with us until they are paid for in full.
Collection blanks
Paid in full when you collect at the agreed time. Reservations made by phone, WhatsApp or the website form are a courtesy hold, not a contract.
Supplied and fitted
The scope, price, payment stages and timing of bespoke work will be confirmed in your written quotation before you agree to proceed.
Collection
Supply-only products are standard-size blanks, collected from Southampton. Cutting, templating and fitting are not included. You arrange any cutting or fitting you need.
Please confirm stock, collection arrangements and the dimensions and weight of your pieces before travelling. Arrange suitable transport and safe handling with an appropriately equipped professional.
Inspect your goods when you collect and tell us about any concerns. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Transport arrangements
Supply-only prices are for collection. Do not assume delivery or loading equipment is included. Contact us before making transport arrangements so that the collection requirements can be confirmed.
Cancellation
Collection blanks: If you change your mind before collecting, tell us so we can discuss the order and release any courtesy hold. Any statutory cancellation rights depend on how your contract was made; we will explain the applicable terms before you commit to buy.
Supplied and fitted work: you may cancel free of charge at any time before your stone is cut, and any deposit is refunded in full. Once it has been cut to your template it is made to your specification and cannot be resold, so it cannot be cancelled or refunded except where we are at fault. Where your contract is a distance or off-premises contract, we will give you the cancellation information the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 require, in writing, before you pay.
Natural stone
Granite is quarried, not manufactured. Variation in tone, in the size and distribution of the flecks, and faint mineral lines are characteristics of the stone rather than defects. Samples and photographs are indicative only. Ask us how to confirm your chosen stone before placing an order.
Thickness, finish, cut-outs and other specifications for bespoke work are confirmed in the written quotation and template details.
Guarantees
We do not offer a warranty on our goods or our work. We inspect the stone with you at collection or on fitting day, and if something is visibly wrong we will put it right. Tell us as soon as you notice it.
None of this affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and a service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Those rights cannot be excluded and we do not attempt to exclude them.
Fitting work: what is not included
- Gas connection or disconnection. That is work for a Gas Safe registered engineer.
- Electrical connection, and plumbing.
- Removal or disposal of your existing worktops, unless it is written on your quotation.
- Making good to plaster, tiles or paint behind or beneath the old worktops.
- Any consequence of units that are not level, not secure, or that move after we have fitted.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
